2017 June Theatre Festival

The June Festival is almost here!  We have another year of exciting shows and events planned.  All shows are performed in an intimate Black Box style on the stage at The Ritz.

Our first event is a Night Of 1 Acts that plays June 9th and 10th both at 7:30.  This show features 4 original 1 Act plays by local play writes.

The following weekend we present Next Fall on June 16th and 17th both at 7:30pm. Next Fall is a play written by Geoffrey Nauffts. The play is about two gay men in a committed relationship with a twist, with one, Luke, being devoutly religious and the other, Adam, an atheist. The play revolves around their five-year relationship and how they make it work despite their differences. However, when an accident changes everything, Adam must turn to Luke’s family for support and answers.

The final show of the festival is Stop Kiss which plays June 23rd and 24th both at 7:30pm.  Stop Kiss is a play written by the American playwright Diana Son.  A poignant and funny play about the ways, both sudden and slow, that lives can change irrevocably,” says Variety. After Callie meets Sara, the two unexpectedly fall in love. Their first kiss provokes a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they could never anticipate.
