Michelle Foster’s BROADWAY 2020 to Premiere at The Ritz!
Singer, pianist, actor, and dancer Michelle Foster, who recently music directed The Ritz Theatre Company’s production of The Wiz, is elated to premiere her original tour program, BROADWAY 2020, on the Ritz stage. Michelle has had the opportunity to music direct at venues spanning the tristate area, but found her home at The Ritz. The cast of The Wiz left such a lasting impression on Michelle that she has invited them to join her in the encore of her show on Sunday, December 22nd. Danielle Harley-Scott, who recently played Aunt Em and Evillene in that production, will be featured in a never-before-heard mash up of music from The Lion King.
A regular sub for Gloria Gaynor’s music director, Michelle has worked with The Duprees and has toured internationally with world-renowned countertenor, Terry Barber. The show features songs from beloved Broadway musicals such as Les Miserables, Wicked, West Side Story, Beetlejuice, Moulin Rouge, Oklahoma, Waitress, Beautiful, Dear Evan Hansen, Cats, Aladdin, Phantom of the Opera, and more. Foster has made waves wherever she performs. “Michelle stuck out as a clear talent that resonated with our group” (Sharon, The Palace Theater). “At the end of the evening, both Barber and Foster received a standing ovation” (The Drayton Valley Western Review).
